Usually for our sports segment of Focal Point News we have our anchor in the Spartan Newsroom, but with the MSU basketball team in Des Moines we decided to take this segment on the road! I was responsible for producing this segment and creating some of the content used.
Spartan Minute
The Spartan Minute is a new series that is a shortened version of the Spartan Sports Report. The Spartan Minute shows quick highlights of all teams MSU and is purely uploaded to social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. I anchored, produced and edited this week of the Spartan Minute.
Focal Point Spring 2018
The Michigan State campus was rocked to its core during the Larry Nassar trial and Focal Point News captured it all. Focal Point is a student run weekly newscast. This show won the 2018 University Student Production Award for best newscast. I was a senior producer for this show.
Spartan Sports Report
The Spartan Sports Report is a weekly sports show that revolves around everything MSU. We try to cover and represent as many MSU teams on our show as possible! I am responsible for producing, directing, reporting and anchoring this show.
